Pension Information For Clergy Pension Projections, click www.gbophb.com, Then click "Retirement Oasis at the right side of the page. To log on you will need a "pin number" from the General Board of Pension & Health Benefits (GBOPHB). Call customer service at 1-800-851-2201 and request a pin number if you do not have one.
The following forms are located on your Oasis account or you may download here:
--To change your beneficiary, download a Beneficiary form and complete. As a legal document, it must be an original with no white-out or eraser marks. Send the original to GBOPHB, 1201 Davis Street, Evanston, IL 60201 with a copy to the Conference Business Office.
--For any changes to your compensation, a 2010 Pastor’s Compensation and Other Benefits form must be completed and sent to the Conference Business Office with a copy to your District Office. This form is due November 1, 2009. If you have salary changes during the calendar year, download and complete the form and indicate the new effective date at the top of the form.
A 2010 Salary form that will automatically calculate your pastor compensation is available. Click here to download. Answer each question carefully and the completed form will be generated. You may want to save it to your computer. Please note that the Social Security Allowance may be higher than expected because the SSA will be based on the entire compensation including SSA, 3% pension and other cash allowances.
